A Clear Mission: Replace the Needle
Pantec Biosolutions was founded in 2005 by a team of entrepreneurs, engineers and scientists with a clear vision: to replace injection needles through innovative laser‑based drug delivery.
This led to the development of novel laser technologies for transdermal drug delivery and dermatological applications, enabling painless and precise treatment methods.
As part of the Pantec Group - a globally active technology company delivering engineering, production and automation solutions - we have access to a strong industrial and engineering network that enables innovation and scalability.

FOUNDING OF PANTEC AG:
Engineering for motion control
applications, establishing of
production of assembling and
testing of control systems.
2005
FOUNDING OF PANTEC
BIOSOLUTIONS AG:
Mission to develop an epidermal
drug delivery laser system.
2007
First demonstration of pulsed
side pumped Er:YAG laser.
2008
QM: Certified according to ISO13485.
Medical CE for a laser based handheld device (PLEASE).
2009
First commercial 3 µm lasers
with 2 W and 15 W.
DPM 2 and DPM 15 (Er:YAG)
introduced under brand 3mikron.
2010
FOUNDING OF PANTEC'S
MEDICAL LASER UNIT
2011
First demonstration of pulsed
side pumped Tm:YAG laser.
2014
Launch of DPM 30 (Er:YAG):
3 µm laser with 30 W.
2015
Launch of FAM High Brightness
laser diode module.
Medical CE certification
for laser assisted drug delivery.
2016
Launch of DPM 20 (Tm:YAG):
2 µm laser with 20 W.
Launch of DPM 50 (Er:YAG):
3 µm laser with 50 W.

Launch of DPM 100 (Tm:YAG):
2 µm laser with 100 W.
Clinical proof of skin vaccination
achieved with EPIMMUMTM dry patch.
2019
Custom development in
dermatology, ophthalmology,

Launch of DLM 12 (NIR):
High brightness laser
diode module with 12 W.
2022
Launch of DPM 80 (Er:YAG):
3 µm laser with 80 W.
